About the Role

The position needs to be a key team player to support the business growth of the assigned product category. The roles require an active pursuit in market insights and competition benchmark studies to build a strong winning strategy which includes business development support to distributors in the region and to deploy the necessary ATL & BTL activities. A proactive attitude to improve or improvise process and strategy is vital, having that “Change for a better good” mindset motivates positive result.   


What You Will Do

  • Responsible for sales of car audio product category, business strategies, providing business development support to countries’ team, distributors and planning sales forecast in Asia Pacific region.

  • Engage pro-actively in product sales and marketing, channel penetration and development to expand market share in each country in the region.

  • Responsible for Roadmap management (Price, Spec, SKU, SOP, RTS)

  • Responsible for NPI and sales tracking (Product lifecycle/Price fluctuation/Launch dates details tracking) 

  • Assist & support in Product compliance administrative duty (Coordination, ROI).

  • Take charge of Product management (Forecast, Testing, Evaluation report, Compare, Samples assignment, Sales pitch material, Demo guidelines, Product core communication).

  • Conduct Product Training Workshops for internal and external stakeholders (eg. Distributor, Media, Dealer, Promoter, Trainer, Employees etc ).

  • Support internal departments in all aspects related to the technicality and details of the assigned product category.   

  • Assist country partners in business negotiation with-in local context to maximize business opportunity in the best interest of the company.

  • Support and provide holistic solutions in developing the market businesses to the benefit of our company.

  • Pro-actively identify and propose business opportunities where available.

  • Measure and track countries’ performance in terms of sales growth and market penetration.

  • Support timely business review with the country partners.

  • Ensure all executions and plans adhere to company policies and guidelines.

  • Work cohesively with global product team to identify key product strategies and localize into assigned regions.

  • Review and understand product key USPs and features.

  • Work seamlessly with CRM/SCM to ensure high standard of sales logistics functions operationally and responsible for PSI Management.

  • Assist country partners in all product quality & warranty matters.

  • Assist QC Manager in terms of product compliance matters for your regions.

  • Prepare Monthly Sales / Marketing Report.

What You Need to be Successful

  • At least a Diploma or Business Degree in related field

  • Ability and aptitude to analyze and solve problems independently.

  • Minimum 3 years of Sales/Marketing in Business Development experience, Product Strategy planning and management experience with a proven track record of growing and sustaining sales revenue in Car Audio Industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) is a must.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries.

  • Meticulous with eye for details.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
