Core Faculty Family Medicine Physician – Residency ProgramRiverview, Florida

BayCare Medical Group, a physician-led organization, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join our Family Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty in Riverview, Florida. This position includes 0.7 clinical and 0.3 administrative time.

Position Highlights: 

• Core faculty role in a new and growing Family Medicine Residency Program
• Full-spectrum outpatient family medicine, including prenatal care, pediatrics, and adult medicine
• Regular resident precepting in clinic and office procedures
• Active involvement in curriculum development and resident career guidance
• Shared call across the Family Medicine department
• Supportive, collaborative, non-competitive environment

About the Program & Organization

The BayCare Family Medicine Residency Program is a 3-year program based at St. Joseph’s Hospital–South, in partnership with Tampa Family Health Centers, accepting 10 residents annually. BayCare is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health system serving West Central Florida, known for compassionate care and clinical excellence.

St. Joseph’s Hospital–South is a modern, 223-bed hospital located in Riverview, a fast-growing suburban community just south of Tampa, offering a collaborative, high-quality clinical environment.

Qualifications

Position Requires:

• Certified in Family Medicine
• Inpatient precepting experience preferred
• Possess excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic documentation is required
