Hilltop Residential is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Area Manager who will be to assist with the expansion of property management functions for Hilltop’s assets in the Dallas / Fort Worth market. With Hilltop’s core values as the foundation, this Area Manager will set the tone for, and continue the high standards of, customer service and performance at Hilltop Residential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute Hilltop’s property management strategies in alignment with our core values across an assigned group of properties within the DFW area
  • Maintain Hilltop’s standards for customer service and cost control to support strong property performance and profitability
  • Implement and help refine site-level operating, maintenance, and cost-control policies, procedures, and programs established by Hilltop Residential
  • Support the development and performance of onsite personnel, reinforcing Hilltop’s culture of hard work, integrity, job satisfaction, and opportunity
  • Assist in evaluating and enhancing resident-focused technology solutions at the property level
  • Support the Regional Manager and leadership team in driving portfolio goals and contributing to growth within the market

Requirements

  •  Hands-on experience in multifamily property management with exposure to multi-site operations, financial performance, and customer service
  • Proven ability to apply strong sales, marketing, and customer service skills to address and resolve resident concerns effectively
  • Solid financial understanding, including managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and completing financial and operational reporting accurately and on time
  • Developing leadership skills with the ability to guide, coach, and support onsite team members to improve performance and maintain high standards
  • Proficiency with property management software (preferably OneSite / RealPage) and standard office applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database tools
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, hardworking, humble, and trustworthy; consistently seeks opportunities to improve processes and outcomes 

This position reports directly to the Regional Vice President.
