About the Role

Description

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and performing activities related to the financial and accounting functions of the organization; provides support and advice to management and the Board.


  • Responsible for leadership, daily supervision, training, scheduling, decisions for hiring and termination, and conducts performance evaluation and corrective actions for staff in coordination with the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with Management and staff at all campus locations.
  • Ensure the Accounting Department is in compliance with the Financial Policies and Procedures .
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility, confidentiality and proper accounting controls.
  • Supervision of accounts payable and accounts receivable areas.
  • Supervision and assistant ensuring proper usage of grant expenses, invoicing, and reconciling.
  • Supervision of all service billing, reconciling, and quality assurance.
  • Works closely with Development to ensure proper reporting and compliance.
  • Oversee completion and filing of annual 1099’s for vendors and partners of the Ranch.
  • Ensuring maintenance of accounting records.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

Bachelors’ degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field; AND five (5) years of professional accounting and finance experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
