We’re seeking an HSE Coordinator to join our Wellington team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of HSE to help deliver work for customers safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll play an essential role working closely with our site teams, providing the resources and backing they need to champion our ‘Living Safely 2.0’ approach.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Maintain and update safety, environment, and quality registers and records (incidents, audits, inspections, training, etc.)
  • Collate HSE performance data, provide regular reports to management, and generate trend analysis for continuous improvement
  • Assist with occupational health and safety investigations where required, auditing and documentation
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits and provide follow-up support
  • Ensure timely communication of HSE updates, policy changes, and regulatory alerts to site teams and subcontractors
  • Promote health and safety awareness by supporting and coordinating processes

We're looking for someone with:

  • Relevant qualification in Health and Safety at an operational level, or a willingness to work toward a qualification
  • Full Class 1 drivers’ licence
  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Experience in tracking and analysing data dashboards and running reports
  • Competent user of Microsoft especially Word and Excel
  • Strong computer and systems skills 
  • Commitment to quality improvement and best practice in quality management
