In this role, you will lead supplier qualification, performance improvement, and proactive risk mitigation. You will work closely with Procurement and Engineering to embed quality into sourcing decisions and drive defect prevention. What you’ll do

• Collaborate with Procurement during supplier selection and qualification, assessing quality risks and compliance.
• Lead supplier qualification processes, including audits, documentation reviews, and first article inspections.
• Act as the primary supplier quality contact for assigned categories/projects and manage performance.
• Drive resolution of supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier visits, process audits, and Gemba walks to verify compliance and enable proactive risk mitigation.

Expectations for you

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical field, e.g. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• At least 7 years of experience in supplier quality or industrial quality assurance roles.
• Expertise in quality tools and standards (APQP, ISO 9001, NCR/CAPA, FMEA, SPC).
• Knowledge of LEAN principles and ability to apply continuous improvement practices is seen as advantage
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, other languages is seen as advantage
• Ability to travel as required for supplier visits and audits.

You need deep expertise in supplier quality processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions. Hands-on experience with audits, inspections, and supplier development is essential.
