Role Title: Commercial Support Officer


Role Description:
We are seeking a Commercial Support Officer (Level 2/3) to provide administrative support for commercial and contract management activities across upcoming and ongoing Air and Surface programs. This role is critical in ensuring Defence contracts and procurement documentation are well‑managed, compliant, and deliver effective outcomes.
You will assist with the preparation, review, and administration of ASDEFCON contracts, support contract renewals and extensions, and provide day‑to‑day coordination of commercial documentation and artefacts. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with Defence stakeholders, contractors, and industry partners.

Essential Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in Defence commercial administration, procurement support, or contract management.
- Demonstrated experience with ASDEFCON contracts and Defence procurement processes.
- Ability to prepare and support contract artefacts for new, renewal, or extension activities.
- Experience reviewing existing contracts for fitness‑for‑purpose and recommending improvements.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Objective
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across Defence, industry, and government stakeholders.
- Must hold Australian citizenship and an active NV1 security clearance.

Desirable Requirements:
- Background in Defence capability or sustainment programs.
- Familiarity with the Defence Procurement Policy Manual (DPPM) and related guidance.
- Experience providing advice and assistance on commercial matters in complex environments.
- NV2 clearance or higher.
