About the Job 

 

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity exists in O.C. Tanner’s Asia Pacific sales team for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join us to help capitalise on some strong momentum and further strengthen our new business pipeline. The role is responsible for new client acquisition and commercial management, retention and growth of a portfolio of accounts. 

 

Our preference is for the role to be based in Melbourne (APAC Head Office); however, we will consider Sydney for the right candidate.  

 

This is an exciting time to join O.C. Tanner in the region, with continued investment in growth and the opportunity to take on an established sales seat with a strong existing pipeline to nurture and grow.  

 

What You’ll do 

 

Contribute positively to our team ethic, workplace culture and exceed sales and growth targets through: 

  • Proactively participating in the development and execution of targeted prospecting campaigns aimed at generating new relationships, meetings and new business opportunities;  

  • Partnership with local Inside Sales and Marketing teams to research and engage, create and respond to leads; 

  • Partnership with local Client Success teams in the service, management and support of client retention and growth activities (across a portfolio of accounts);. 

  • Leading the proposal and pursuits strategy for target prospects; 

  • Overseeing and facilitating commercial negotiations with new clients; 

  • Maintaining up-to-date client account, contact records and reporting in our CRM; 

  • Attending sponsored and industry events, as required;  

  • Supporting broader O.C. Tanner business development and marketing activities. 

 

 

What you’ll bring 

 

As the ideal candidate, you will have significant experience working in sales and business development in Australia with a SaaS or HR technology / service provider, and a demonstrated track record of success in acquiring new business. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills (and know how to craft a professional, insightful sales message that captures a prospects attention and interest). In addition, you are a terrific collaborator and team player, with an eye for detail and excellent time management skills
