About the Role

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our hotel - welcoming guests, assisting throughout their stay, and delivering personalised service that reflects our service spirit. Located in the heart of Cairns City, our hotel features 324 rooms, 13 meeting spaces, Coco’s Kitchen and Bar, and in-room dining. You’ll play a key role in shaping exceptional guest journeys in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Job Description

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and passionate part-time Guest Service Agent to join our exceptional front office team, ensuring our guests receive the highest level of hospitality and care.

In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver warm, professional, and personalised service as the first and last point of contact for our guests
  • Create a seamless guest journey by handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest enquiries with confidence and care
  • Proactively respond to guest requests and resolve concerns to ensure a memorable stay
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office and other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations
  • Anticipate guest needs and consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Uphold Pullman brand standards while maintaining a positive, welcoming environment

Qualifications

About You:

  • A warm, positive, and professional approach with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • A strong team player who collaborates effectively across departments
  • Comfortable using computer systems; Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded
  • Flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on anticipating and meeting guest needs
