Mercure Perth is conveniently located in the heart of Perth city, with the major shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 239 well-appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

ibis Perth has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment, unveiling a fresh new look that elevates the guest and team experience to a whole new level. Ideally located in the Perth West End, ibis Perth is just 300m from the bustling Murray and Hay Street shopping malls. The hotel features 192 modern, air-conditioned rooms, and guests can enjoy our stylish, elevated bar and all-day dining outlet, serving delicious meals and refreshing beverages. Job Description

Are you a creative marketer with a flair for digital strategy and content creation? We are seeking an energetic Marketing Coordinator to drive visibility, growth, and engagement for both Mercure and ibis Perth hotel and our F&B outlets.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and has a passion for hospitality and hotel and events marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule and publish engaging posts on Facebook, Instagram and emerging platforms. Monitor, respond to and analyze local engagement metrics.
  • Update microsites, hotel websites and third-party listings (including OTAs and Google Business) with promotions, room rates and F&B offers. ­Audit and optimize online distribution channels to meet rising digital demand and conversion targets.
  • Draft and deploy EDM campaigns using Taguchi (or similar), ensuring message consistency across both hotels and F&B outlets.
  • Design, proof digital and print assets for rooms, MICE, Beccaria, Cucina and Chelsea Social promotions using Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Assist in annual marketing promotional plan creation for both properties. ­Coordinate photoshoots, Google business page optimization, video production to support brand storytelling.
  • Liaise with sales teams, senior management, corporate partners and suppliers to align on marketing objectives.
  • Support emerging initiatives such as new platform roll-outs, loyalty tie-ins or seasonal thematic events.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated marketing experience, preferably within hospitality or tourism.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven results in revenue-driven marketing.
  • Advanced digital marketing and SEO expertise.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and agency management skills.
  • Highly analytical, results-oriented and strategically minded.
