With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Master HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (HVAC). The successful candidate must be willing to train, develop, and certify work hours for junior HVAC technicians when necessary. The role is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in a commercial facility setting in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
Compensation: $68.00 - $76.00 per hour, based on experience. Medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily HVAC/R operations at the site
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Train, support, and develop HVAC/R technicians
- Review and approve the HVAC technicians’ work hours on-site
- Respond promptly and professionally to service calls
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of refrigerants
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
Requirements
- New Jersey HVAC Master License required
- Minimum 7+ years of HVAC experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment, with proven proficiency in troubleshooting and repair
- 3 - 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
