Job Summary:
Our marketing team plays a critical role in helping students discover and connect with these life-changing opportunities. We do this by building awareness of our university partners’ online programs, crafting compelling narratives that speak to student goals, and delivering data-informed strategies that drive enrolment and engagement.
We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Designer to bring our marketing campaigns to life through compelling visuals. From websites and social ads to brochures and infographics, you’ll craft designs that not only capture attention but also support students in making confident decisions about their future.
You’ll work closely with our marketing and recruitment teams to ensure designs align with strategy and resonate with diverse student audiences.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Design:
Develops paid social ads, websites, landing pages, brochures, and infographics
Designs and produces high-quality digital assets, including web pages, email campaigns, social media graphics and marketing materials.
Creates and maintains design guidelines, style guides and brand standards to ensure visual consistency.
Applies UX/UI best practices to enhance usability, accessibility and overall user satisfaction.
Adapts designs for multiple devices and platforms.
Stays current with design trends, tools and technologies
Reviews, refines and iterates designs based on stakeholder feedback and testing.
Manages multiple design requests, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Cross Functional Relationships:
Works closely with the broader Marketing, Recruitment, Academic Services and Student Support teams to produce images and graphics aligned to campaign needs.
Seeks feedback from key stakeholders to refine images and visuals.
Participates in brainstorming and ideation sessions to contribute to creative solutions.
Supports the design team in producing mock-ups and layouts under guidance from marketing managers.
Research:
Monitors industry trends, design practices and competitors to keep visual content relevant and impactful.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a design role, ideally within education, marketing, or mission-driven organizations.
Preferred Materials:
Submission of a cover letter and/or relevant work samples.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across digital formats (ads, web, infographics, brochures).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma/Canva.
High attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
Familiarity with UX principles, such as intuitive navigation and responsive design.
Understanding of digital performance metrics and responsive design best practices.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Customer-focused mindset with a student-centric approach.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively in a remote team environment.
Able to think creatively and translate concepts into visual images.
Location Requirements:
Must reside in Australia.
Occasional interstate travel is required.
