About the Role

Description

The Pharmacy Technician I will:

Be responsible for sterile compounding and automated inventory maintenance (ie., Pyxis).
Be responsible for performing general technician functions as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
Drive a hospital vehicle as a function of their role.
Demonstrate a positive team attitude, and a willingness to perform general department functions as assigned by Director of Pharmacy

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
State of Vermont Pharmacy Technician Certification
Valid Driver’s License
National Pharmacy Technician Certification within twelve (12) months of hire
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (preferred)
Sterile compounding experience (preferred)

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
