This is a full-time on-site position located in Woodland, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!

Requirements

  • Maintain network systems, servers, data communication lines, and related hardware, software, and applications
  • Install new hardware and modify or upgrade existing hardware and systems
  • Maintain email and organizational IT services; add and remove users, accounts, permissions, and access
  • Communicate with end users to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve IT and system-related issues
  • Provide help desk support ranging from basic troubleshooting to advanced technical issue resolution
  • Conduct diagnostics, testing, and monitoring to ensure optimal system performance and minimal downtime
  • Install and maintain peripheral devices, including printers, routers, switches, hubs, TVs, and other equipment
  • Support IT needs throughout the production floor and administrative offices
  • Manage system updates, patches, backups, and recovery processes
  • Assess cybersecurity risks; design, implement, and maintain security tools and procedures, including firewalls and antivirus protection
  • Provide cybersecurity guidance, policy recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with leadership to review and analyze hardware and software needs and recommend improvements
  • Lead IT projects from planning through implementation and rollout
  • Integrate new technologies into the existing environment and ensure systems function together effectively
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, licensing, and technical support
  • Create and maintain data reports, system logs, documentation, and IT knowledge base materials
  • Conduct training for employees on new and existing software, hardware, systems, and IT policies
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and emerging technologies
  • Continuously evaluate and improve IT systems, workflows, and processes


Competencies:

  • Knowledge of networking, data communications, workstation setups, and enterprise systems
  • Understanding of system integrations, cybersecurity principles, and infrastructure management
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other Portco software
  • Ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, and leadership
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently perform data entry and documentation


Experience

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and/or
  • equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems, network administration, and user technical support
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
