We are currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our collaborative MD/OD team in Washington State.

Position Highlights

This role is ideal for an optometrist who enjoys medical optometry and surgical co-management, particularly cataract and glaucoma care. You’ll work closely with ophthalmologists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care from diagnosis through post-operative management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical eye exams and advanced diagnostics
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma patients
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and long-term eye health
  • Co-manage care with ophthalmologists in a team-based model
  • Maintain strong relationships with referring providers
  • Complete, accurate, timely EMR documentation
  • Participate in CE and training opportunities

Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
  • Active Washington State license (or ability to obtain)
  • Interest or experience in cataract and glaucoma co-management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
