The Warehouse Receiving Clerk will offload inbound carrier trucks, check for damages, and sign off on carrier bills of lading. They will also receive merchandise into the ERP system and keep records of vendor shipments.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking Warehouse Clerk positions based in our Plainview, NY location.

Responsibilities

Offload inbound carrier trucks.

Check for damages of merchandise

Signoff carrier bill of lading on inbound shipments

Receive merchandise into ERP system

Keep record of vendor shipment BOL and invoices received

Sort stock for distribution in the warehouse

Input merchandise location for order tracking.

Load pallets into carrier trucks of outbound shipments.

Keep up with the movement of merchandise in the warehouse

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with working in industrial/warehousing environment

Experience providing administrative support in a corporate environment

Demonstrate proficiency to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities.

Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality with strong focus on teamwork

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Excellent interpersonal skills required

Demonstrate maturity and judgment

Able to lift 50+ pounds

Must have a car
