Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer

Northgate Tire – Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $19–$24.50/hr + Overtime + Monthly Incentives
Schedule: Mon–Fri 7AM–6PM, Sat 7AM–12PM
Location: 3712 Springdale Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45251


Northgate Tire, a full-service auto repair shop serving the Cincinnati community, is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who delivers excellent customer service and enjoys working with a motivated, supportive team.


What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers and provide a great service experience
  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly
  • Support technicians and maintain shop workflow
  • Build trust and long-term customer relationships

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Willing to commit to building the customer experience and a shop reputation for honesty, transparency, and outstanding work.
  • MUST HAVE at least 1 or more years’ Service Writer/Advisor experience or other experience that closely matches the Service Advisor responsibilities.
  • Develops a great working relationship with the Technicians that is founded on respect.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • MUST HAVE 1 or more years’ experience in a sales role or demonstrates an ability to sell and lead.
