Salary Range: $104,500 – $139,000 annually

The Human Resource Operations Manager plays a critical role in building and sustaining the operational backbone of EEI’s HR function. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring payroll, HR systems, workforce data, compensation, and benefits operations run accurately, compliantly, and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys owning systems end-to-end, and takes pride in creating scalable, reliable HR operations that support both employees and leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily HR operations and ensure compliance across multiple states
- Own end-to-end payroll processing and payroll-related reporting
- Manage HR systems (HRIS), data integrity, and reporting
- Oversee benefits setup, enrollments, and reconciliations
- Support compensation processes, merit cycles, and workforce reporting
- Maintain HR policies, documentation, and audit readiness
- Lead and develop the HR Operations team
- Partner closely with Finance, IT, and the broader HR team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of HR operations experience, including payroll and HRIS ownership
- 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compliance
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
- HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.) preferred
