Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Environmental Services department Director in the administrative planning and operational responsibility and administration of Environmental Services Department.
  • Supports Director in operation of department and acts for Director in his/her absence.
  • Supports Director by preparing department budget data; monitors expenditures while developing and implementing hospital/departments goals and objectives.
  • Utilizes a systems methodology to analyze organizational systems and processes, to make recommendations for operation improvements and to coordinate the implementation of changes, work through individual and team approaches
  • Conduct analysis of facility needs relating to EVS including work flow analysis, space programming, equipment layout design, and simulation technology Proficient in leading, and training management with a heightened emphasis on consistency, responsibility and accountability.
  • Work with department manager to formulate plan for professional development. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, 6 years previous experience of which three years are in a supervisory role.
