Description
Support the development, improvement, and maintenance of operational systems, data processes, and process automations. Assist with data analysis, reporting, and digital tools that enhance operational efficiency and standardize business metrics.
· Understand business processes and systems for their functional area and act as a liaison for the functional area between IT and the business.
· Support development of automated processes across operational functions.
· Help build and maintain standardized reporting metrics for consistent data interpretation.
· Provide artifacts (data model, data maps, knowledge base articles, etc.), and support production teams when needed.
· Facilitate requirements gathering with individuals or small teams in functional areas to develop a comprehensive business requirement document.
· Provide support in configuring and testing systems, applications, and integrations, leveraging Microsoft suite power tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
· Comply with all health and safety requirements based on each operation.
· Use ERP/MRP systems to review and enter information.
· Assist in system troubleshooting and help route issues to appropriate technical resources.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
· Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements, and meet deadlines.

Requirements
· Prepare documentation, workflow diagrams, and basic training materials for new or updated processes.
· Foundational technical background with interest or coursework in systems, automation, or data analytics.
· Strong analytical thinking and basic problem-solving skills.
· Ability to interpret data trends and build simple reports or dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
· Support root-cause investigation activities by gathering data and documenting findings.
· Assist with maintaining ISO 90001/14001 documentation as directed.
Education and Experience
· 1–3 years’ engineering or IT experience in manufacturing.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
