POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a reliable Loan Processing Specialist to approve consumer loans. This role serves as the link between potential customers and our company. The goal is to help qualified applicants secure loans and protect the credibility of the organization. Loan Processor reviews, evaluates, and verifies loan applications. The role also includes originating loans. The Loan Processor guides customers through the full application process, confirms all documentation is accurate, and maintains compliance with company policies and lending regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As a Loan Processing Specialist, you will:
- Application Management: Take calls, process applications, and help guide guiding customers through each step.
- Information Review: Thoroughly review all application information with the customer for accuracy and completeness.
- System Verification: Utilize multiple software programs to verify and cross-reference customer data.
- Finalization, Disclosure, and Funding: Validate all application details and ensure customers are clearly informed of their contractual rules and obligations.
- Customer Support: Proactively help customers with the application, including updating information.
- Maintaining compliance with federal and tribal regulation: Including but not limited to: Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), and Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act)
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education: Minimum of High school diploma/ GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work takes place in an office setting in all weather conditions and during day or night shifts. The role may involve stressful situations. Noise levels are generally low.
