About The Company
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada features a traditional and co-operative education undergraduate program and a course-based and research-based graduate program. There are about 700 undergraduate students and more than 250 graduate students. About the Role

This position is part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).

The successful candidate will be offered a tenure-track appointment with the rank of Assistant Professor, which is in accordance with the Academic Faculty Agreement, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Location - This role requires in-person work at North Campus Edmonton.

Tenure Track Faculty Position - Indigenous Scholar in Kinesiology or Leisure Studies

The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta invites applications from First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Scholars for the position of tenure track Assistant Professor. Scholarship must be approached from among a range of underlying disciplines within the broad areas of Kinesiology and Leisure Studies. This position has an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.
