Our agents answer calls, reply to emails and WhatsApp messages, make bookings, take payments, and operate the CRM in the same way a human would.</p><h3><strong>About Elyos AI</strong></h3><p>We founded Elyos in June 2023 and took part in the Y Combinator S23 batch. We spent four months in San Francisco living and breathing AI, and at the end of the programme raised a $3m seed round. Since then, we’ve been growing revenue ~30% month on month and shipping fast. As a Founding Solutions Engineer, you’ll sit right at the intersection of engineering, product, and customers — shaping both what we build and how it’s deployed in the real world.</p><p>You’ll work hands-on with LLMs, Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, Voice Activity Detection, and workflow automation to help real businesses handle calls, book jobs, take payments, and deliver best-in-class customer service.</p><hr><h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Founding Solutions Engineer</strong> to join Elyos as one of our earliest technical hires outside the core engineering team. You’ll work closely with Adrian (CEO), product, and engineering to design, build, and deploy AI agents directly with customers.</p><p>This is not a traditional pre-sales or support role. You’ll be:</p><ul><li><p>Building real implementations</p></li><li><p>Writing code and configs</p></li><li><p>Debugging live customer workflows</p></li><li><p>Turning bespoke customer solutions into reusable product primitives</p></li></ul><p>You’ll be the person who makes “this should work in theory” actually work in production.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><h3><strong>Customer Solutions &amp; Implementation</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Design, build, and deploy AI agents tailored to customer workflows across voice, email, and messaging</p></li><li><p>Own end-to-end customer implementations, from technical discovery through to go-live</p></li><li><p>Configure conversation flows, prompts, integrations, and automation to handle bookings, payments, and CRM actions</p></li><li><p>Debug real-world edge cases (accents, noise, weird customer behaviour, CRM quirks, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Set and uphold quality bars for agent performance, reliability, and customer experience</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Product &amp; Platform Feedback</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Act as the technical bridge between customers and engineering, translating real-world needs into clear product requirements</p></li><li><p>Identify recurring implementation patterns and turn them into reusable platform features</p></li><li><p>Contribute directly to product design decisions around APIs, workflows, tooling, and configuration models</p></li><li><p>Validate new features in production with customers and feed learnings back into the roadmap</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Internal Tooling &amp; Scale</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Build internal tools, templates, and playbooks to reduce time-to-live for new customers</p></li><li><p>Help define best practices for onboarding, configuration, and testing</p></li><li><p>Introduce automation and metrics to track implementation health and agent performance</p></li><li><p>Gradually help train and level up future solutions / implementation engineers as the team grows</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Experience</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Strong engineering background (software, systems, or applied engineering)</p></li><li><p>Comfortable writing code, debugging systems, and working with APIs and integrations</p></li><li><p>Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers</p></li><li><p>Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders on technical implementations</p></li><li><p>Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments</p></li><li><p>Naturally curious, pragmatic, and obsessed with making things actually work</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Bonus</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or conversational AI</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with CRMs, workflow automation, or telephony systems</p></li><li><p>Startup or early-stage experience</p></li><li><p>Product-minded engineer who enjoys shaping what gets built</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Perks &amp; Benefits</strong></h2><p>💸 <strong>Competitive salary &amp; meaningful equity</strong> – we’re building this together<br>📚 <strong>AI-first learning &amp; development</strong> – stay at the cutting edge<br>✈️ <strong>Team socials &amp; annual offsites</strong> – last year was Greece<br>🏥 <strong>Private healthcare</strong> – we look after our people</p>
