Responsibilities
- Preparing examination room and equipment
- Explaining x-ray procedure to the patient to ensure understanding and comfort
- Operating x-ray machine according to established procedures
- Reviewing the quality of image and redoing if needed
- Operating within radiologic standards of care
- Taking the necessary steps to avoid undue exposure to radiation
- Maintaining an accurate patient record of completed x-ray procedures
- Opportunity to cross train into other modalities (MRI, CT)
***1 year commitment required for the sign on bonus
Requirements
- Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (RT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience in CT and MRI preferred.
- Graduate of Accredited Imaging School.
- Must have BLS certification
