The Group Sales Coordinator at Morgan’s Wonderland is a revenue generating, seasonal position supporting Student/Youth & General Group Sales. This role identifies and coordinates sales opportunities and reports directly to the Group Sales & Events Manager. This role also supports the Group Sales & Events Coordinator in slower seasons. This role is highly visible with both park leadership and clients, working to ensure a seamless experience for all groups.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops, manages, and sells to new and existing accounts within the Student/Youth & General Sales segment through varying degrees of in-bound inquiries, and out-bound telephone and email outreach.
- Responsible for client invoicing, payment coordination, and expected to maintain complete lead generation management, account maintenance, as well as timely and accurate data entry.
- Works closely with Group Sales & Events Manager as instructed to ensure sales and revenue goals are met.
- During slower seasons, assists the Group Sales & Events Coordinator for day-of private event execution.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Possess excellent administrative, hospitality, and public relation skills through written or verbal communication.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize varied/multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and have a flexible schedule that varies by the season of the year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including word, excel, teams, and outlook with high aptitude for computer software systems.
- Commitment to the mission and core values of Morgan’s Wonderland as well as the implementation of these values in all daily work activities.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to work as part of a team; maintain a positive attitude even under stress.
