  • Managing a sophisticated caseload involving toxic tort, latent injury, environmental exposure, and complex product liability matters.
  • Conducting comprehensive legal research and drafting high-quality pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs.
  • Representing clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Developing and executing effective defense strategies rooted in scientific, medical, and technical evidence.
  • Providing strategic legal guidance to clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and experts—including medical, industrial hygiene, and engineering professionals—to drive favorable outcomes.
  • Staying current on legal developments affecting toxic tort and environmental litigation.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
  • Experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
