- Managing a sophisticated caseload involving toxic tort, latent injury, environmental exposure, and complex product liability matters.
- Conducting comprehensive legal research and drafting high-quality pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs.
- Representing clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Developing and executing effective defense strategies rooted in scientific, medical, and technical evidence.
- Providing strategic legal guidance to clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborating with colleagues and experts—including medical, industrial hygiene, and engineering professionals—to drive favorable outcomes.
- Staying current on legal developments affecting toxic tort and environmental litigation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
- Experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
