Calibration Technician - Field (ETI)

This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. Occasionally at our office in <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Roanoke, TX</span>.</p> <p><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites</li> <li>Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards</li> <li>Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards</li> <li>Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date</li> <li>Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates</li> </ul> <p><strong>You will be successful in this role if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly&nbsp;</li> <li>Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills</li> <li>Are a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude&nbsp;</li> <li>Have excellent attention to detail&nbsp;</li> <li>Have a strong work ethic&nbsp;</li> </ul> </section> <section class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-requirements"> <div> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Able to lift 50lbs</li> <li>Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time&nbsp;</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent customer service skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Good organizational and prioritization skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Roanoke</span>, TX area and occasional overnight out-of-state travel (1 to 2 nights once a month and potentially up to 1 week on a volunteer basis)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least two years of experience in a related field</li> <li>Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems&nbsp;</li> <li>Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields&nbsp;</li> <li>Technical Degree or Certificate&nbsp;</li> <li>Military PMEL Training&nbsp;</li> <li>Metrology experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with IndySoft&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Us:</strong></p> <p>Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
