How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead and mentor nursing and support teams throughout your shift, ensuring every staff member is empowered and supported to provide their best care.

  • Orchestrate daily patient assignments by matching staff expertise with patient needs to ensure every individual receives high-quality, population-specific attention.

  • Evaluate the standard of care by monitoring patient outcomes in real-time and proactively resolving roadblocks that could impact a patient’s recovery journey.

  • Advocate for patients and families by addressing concerns immediately and professionally, turning feedback into improved clinical experiences.

  • Drive team excellence through active coaching and performance feedback, helping to shape the professional growth of the unit’s clinical staff.


What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
