Mortgage Loan Processor

Description

Using sound banking practices, the Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for processing mortgage loans for the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare all early loan documentation. Conduct all necessary procedures for loans in process.
• Works closely with lenders communicating decisions and requirements. Interact with the customer when necessary.
• Intermediate knowledge of loan processes.
• Conduct all necessary processing for post-closing requirements.
• Perform general clerical duties including computer operation, file maintenance and supply requisition.
• Assist & Cross train with the Retail Processing Manager to maintain consistency in absences.
• Insure that loans originated are in compliance with all bank and regulatory policies.
• Exhibits professional behavior and promotes positive working relationships. Practices WCB values and supports the goals and strategic plans of the Bank. Conducts personal finances in a manner consistent with the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct. Accountable for continuous best efforts to complete the job assigned
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Secondary market processing experience, including FHA, VA, USDA and NIFA.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand financial information.
• Professional image.
• Ability to be coachable and learn new skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Desirable:

• 2-4 years of secondary market processing experience, including FHA, VA, USDA and NIFA.
• 5 or more years of secondary market processing experience.
• Previous lending experience.
