Description
Using sound banking practices, the Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for processing mortgage loans for the bank.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare all early loan documentation. Conduct all necessary procedures for loans in process.
- Works closely with lenders communicating decisions and requirements. Interact with the customer when necessary.
- Intermediate knowledge of loan processes.
- Conduct all necessary processing for post-closing requirements.
- Perform general clerical duties including computer operation, file maintenance and supply requisition.
- Assist & Cross train with the Retail Processing Manager to maintain consistency in absences.
- Insure that loans originated are in compliance with all bank and regulatory policies.
- Exhibits professional behavior and promotes positive working relationships. Practices WCB values and supports the goals and strategic plans of the Bank. Conducts personal finances in a manner consistent with the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct. Accountable for continuous best efforts to complete the job assigned

Requirements
Required:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Secondary market processing experience, including FHA, VA, USDA and NIFA.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand financial information.
- Professional image.
- Ability to be coachable and learn new skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Desirable:
- 2-4 years of secondary market processing experience, including FHA, VA, USDA and NIFA.
- 5 or more years of secondary market processing experience.
- Previous lending experience.
