At Buckner Villas, we are looking for a talented and friendly Certified Nurse Aide to join our team. You will be responsible for driving excellence and ensuring that your customer service delivers the required results aligned with Buckner’s mission, vision, and values.   Five-Star Service at Buckner: <ul> <li>Assist with the accurate implementation of the prescribed health care plan.</li> <li>Assist with daily living activities to make sure the patient is taken care of. This includes turning and ambulating patients and delivering food and beverages to patients throughout the day.</li> <li>Help patients with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and helping them bathe.</li> <li>Provide adjunct patient care as needed. This can include delivering ice packs and dressings to help relieve pain while in therapy or baths for soothing purposes after their session has ended.</li> <li>Process a wide range of information from other professionals and work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses.</li> <li>Closely monitor and record food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to be shared with key medical and nursing staff.</li> </ul> The Five-Star Person: <ul> <li>Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification</li> <li>CPR/First Aid certified</li> <li>Professional knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures including infection control.</li> <li>Ability to instruct residents in health care measures and methods of improving use of medical services.</li> <li>Working knowledge of use and monitoring of resident restraints as prescribed by physicians.</li> <li>Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to use tact and courtesy in interactions with coworkers, residents and their families.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">The same way we treat our employees is how we treat all applicants – with respect.
