Appcharge is looking for a Technical Writer to join our growing team and help create clear, consistent, and high-quality documentation.

Job Description:

• Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, tutorials, REST API references, SDK docs, and release notes
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather insights, confirm accuracy, and advocate for the user experience
• Validate documentation by testing product features, exploring APIs, and replicating behavior firsthand
• Maintain quality and consistency across all documentation while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

• Native English speaker or highly proficient in written and spoken English, with exceptional writing and editing skills
• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, ideally for developer-oriented software products
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and webhooks, with the ability to explain them clearly (preferred)
• Familiarity with Postman or similar tools for testing APIs (preferred)
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration (preferred)
• “Detective mindset” — comfortable questioning assumptions, validating technical details, and testing things yourself
• Curiosity on how the features and products work
• Skilled at breaking down complex technical concepts into clear, concise, user-friendly content
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering consistent, accurate documentation
