We're looking for a senior, strategic Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own expansion — identifying the right moments to grow accounts through upsell and cross-sell, and converting that potential into increased ACV. You'll sit within our Existing Businesses lifecycle pillar and focus exclusively on one mission: driving revenue growth from the customers we already have.

This is a high-visibility, senior role with a direct line to NRR. You'll work at the intersection of marketing, product, and sales — independently building the programs, signals, and journeys that help the right customers discover the right upgrade at exactly the right moment.


About The Role

What You'll Own

  • Upsell & cross-sell journeys — Design and execute lifecycle programs that guide paying users toward higher-tier plans, additional seats, AI add-ons, and complementary products, based on usage patterns and account signals.
  • Segmentation & targeting — Build and maintain smart segments that identify expansion-ready accounts by combining behavioral signals (plan limit usage, engagement depth, feature adoption) with enrichment data (company size, industry, role, and firmographics) to tailor the expansion strategy to each user and account.
  • Campaign execution across channels — Own multi-channel programs (email, in-app, push) tailored to different account types, sizes, and lifecycle stages within the paying base.
  • Sales alignment & enablement — Define the handoff logic between automated lifecycle touchpoints and Sales-led expansion motions, especially for Mid-market and Enterprise accounts. This includes closing feedback loops with Sales, ensuring reps have the right messaging and context at the right moment, and continuously refining the handoff based on what's actually converting.
  • Experimentation roadmap — Lead A/B testing across messaging, timing, offers, and segmentation to continuously improve expansion conversion rates.
  • Performance analysis — Track and report on expansion-specific metrics (open opportunities, pipeline ARR, and won ARR) and translate findings into actionable iterations.
  • AI-powered expansion — Leverage AI models and automation to sharpen targeting, personalize expansion touchpoints at scale, and build smarter processes that amplify your day-to-day impact.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, or Growth Marketing — ideally in a SaaS or subscription business with a sales-led growth motion, and a track record of operating independently at a senior level.
  • Proven experience leading upsell, cross-sell, or expansion programs end-to-end, not just executing on someone else's strategy.
  • Deep expertise in behavioral segmentation and lifecycle tooling (e.g., Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
  • Strong analytical mindset — you don't just partner with data teams, you come with hypotheses, define the measurement framework, and own the conclusions.
  • Experience navigating both self-serve and sales-assisted motions, and the judgment to know when to automate vs. escalate.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools and automation to build smarter, more scalable processes.
  • A sharp, influential communicator — you can drive alignment across marketing, product, CS, and revenue leadership around a long-term expansion strategy.
