Summer Trainee, Generative AI

We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, Generative AI 

We are looking for a student with ongoing studies in computer science, AI, machine learning, or similar, to work for 2-4 months between May and September 2026, based on your availability and preference. 

You will be part of a data science team in Espoo, Finland and we expect you to work at the office at least 3 days a week. 

What you will do 

• Support building and optimizing the core logic of generative AI tools 

• Contribute to Python-based backend development and integration of AI components 

The role and responsibilities will be tailored according to business needs and your own skills and preferences.

To be successful in this role, you preferably have 

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies in computer science, AI, machine learning, or related technical field 

• Experience with Python programming 

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), frameworks, and agent-based systems 

• Interest or basic experience in prompt engineering techniques (e.g., few-shot prompting, structured outputs) 

• Good analytical skills and a collaborative approach to work 

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
