This Senior Manager role presents an exciting and unique opportunity suited to an individual who is looking to make a difference in building trust and upholding the rights of individuals. Your privacy risk management expertise will be relied upon to mature the Group’s privacy risk management posture, including in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
As a member of the Group Privacy Office you’ll be working with adjacent risk and compliance, as well as multi-disciplinary, teams to ensure privacy risk is effectively managed across the organisation.
In any given week you will
Advise on and assist with the maintenance of the CBA Group Privacy risk management framework.
Advise on the translation of privacy obligations into business requirements.
Support and drive collaboration between technical, business and risk teams to improve privacy capability.
Assist with the monitoring of compliance and the development of privacy in AI metrics for reporting and privacy governance in AI.
Develop and deliver on programs of work to shape privacy management and ensure consistency in customer and risk outcomes across the Group.
We're interested in hearing from people who have
Demonstrated proven track record dealing with privacy risks, preferably in the context of AI for financial services firms, other highly regulated entities and/or multi-national organisations.
Industry experience, preferably with a background in Compliance, Legal, Risk or Controls gained in an international financial institution or regulatory authority.
Very strong influencing skills and ability to manage through influence in a matrixed organisation.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make customer-centric judgments under tight deadlines.
Deep understanding of relevant privacy laws and regulations and apply in emerging technology and its use.
Strong data analysis and visualisation skills using tools such as PowerBI.
Most importantly we are looking for some with a successful track record of delivering required customer outcomes, has sound relationship-building capacities and demonstrable negotiating/influencing skills.
