About the Role
Focus – EMEA and LATAM
Job Title: Accounting and Billing Specialist
Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:
 
  1. Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
  2. Review billing data for completeness and accuracy.
  3. Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
  4. Process payments, refunds, and account adjustments.
  5. Assist with month-end closing, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  6. Maintain and update customer billing records and financial files.
  7. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance departments to ensure seamless billing
  8. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  9. Assist with general accounting tasks as needed, including expense reports, vendor payments, and financial reporting.

Requirements -
 
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience preferably in a multinational set up 
  • Strong knowledge in General Accounting for at least 3+ years
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts. Exposure to Oracle, HFM, Adaptive, etc would be added advantage
  • Well versed with MS-Office applications like MS-Excel, MS-Word, Advanced PowerPoint
  • Commerce graduate + Accounting qualification
  • Strong oral & written communication
  • Flexibility to work in a regional set up & flexible time zones
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
