Housekeeping Attendant (Indonesian Female Only)

<p>We are seeking a reliable and motivated Housekeeping Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This position is open to applicants from all backgrounds and is gender neutral. The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.</p><h3>Key responsibilities for Housekeeping Attendant</h3><ul> <li> <p>Clean and tidy guest rooms, corridors and public areas to company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, polishing and replenishing amenities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Clean and sanitise bathrooms, replace toiletries and ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.</p> </li> <li> <p>Change bed linen and towels according to procedures, handling soiled linen safely and delivering cleaned linen to appropriate areas.</p> </li> <li> <p>Report any maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly to the supervisor and follow up as required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Adhere to cleaning schedules and checklists, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure lost property is handled and logged according to company policy.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain cleaning equipment and trolleys in good working order; report faults and request replacements when necessary.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist with laundry duties when required, including sorting, loading machines and folding linen following hygiene procedures.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide courteous and professional service to guests and colleagues, responding to reasonable requests and maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.</p> </li> <li> <p>Follow health and safety policies, use personal protective equipment where required and report any hazards or incidents immediately.</p> </li></ul><h3>Required skills and experience for Housekeeping Attendant</h3><ul> <li> <p>Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, serviced accommodation or similar environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.</p> </li> <li> <p>Good attention to detail with a consistent approach to cleanliness and presentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Basic communication skills in English; additional languages including Indonesian are an advantage.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team with a positive and professional attitude.</p> </li> <li> <p>Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods during shifts.</p> </li> <li> <p>Reliable, punctual and organised with good time-management skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Awareness of health, safety and hygiene best practice and willingness to complete relevant training.</p> </li></ul><h4>Qualifications and certifications preferred</h4><ul> <li> <p>Basic food hygiene or health and safety training desirable where role includes handling laundry or In-room refreshments; training can be provided.</p> </li> <li> <p>Relevant vocational qualifications in hospitality or cleaning are advantageous but not required.</p> </li></ul><h4>Working hours, salary and benefits</h4><ul> <li> <p>Full-time and part-time contracts available; shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays in line with operational needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Competitive salary based on experience with opportunities for additional hours during busy periods.</p> </li> <li> <p>Benefits may include staff meals during shifts, training and development support, staff discounts, pension contributions and a supportive work environment.</p> </li></ul><h5>How to apply — Housekeeping Attendant</h5><p>Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience, availability and any qualifications.
