Medical Scribe

Description

Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to support our Urology Specialist team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate, timely, and complete documentation of patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR). The Medical Scribe will work closely with providers to enhance clinic efficiency, improve patient flow, and support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient encounters in real-time within the EMR
   
• Record patient histories, physical exams, review of systems, and provider assessments
   
• Document procedures, diagnostic results, and treatment plans
   
• Prepare and maintain patient charts prior to and following visits
   
• Assist providers with chart completion, orders, and referrals
   
• Ensure all documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards
   
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
   
• Support clinic workflow to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
   
• Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
   
• Prior experience as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or healthcare documentation role
   
• Knowledge of medical terminology (urology experience a plus)
   
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
   
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
   
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
   
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
