This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You’ll drive architectural decisions, own major initiatives end-to-end, and help shape both the technical direction and engineering culture of the company. standards, best practices, and code quality guidelines </li> <li data-start="1702" data-end="1762"> Mentor and review work of junior and mid-level engineers </li> <li data-start="1763" data-end="1839"> Own technical planning, sprint scoping, and long-term platform evolution </li> <li data-start="1840" data-end="1925"> Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear, scalable data-start="1970" data-end="2036"> Design and build high-performance REST and/or GraphQL APIs </li> <li data-start="2037" data-end="2110"> Architect scalable data models and schemas (PostgreSQL preferred) </li> <li data-start="2111" data-end="2187"> Implement secure authentication, RBAC, rate limiting, and API throttling </li> <li data-start="2188" data-end="2271"> Optimize performance, caching, and reliability (Redis, queues, background jobs) </li> <li data-start="2272" data-end="2383"> Build integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, external APIs, internal EMR lead-level responsibility </li> <li data-start="3257" data-end="3316"> Strong expertise in Node.js and Next.js / React </li> <li data-start="3317" data-end="3379"> Proven experience designing and scaling production systems </li> <li data-start="3380" data-end="3453"> Solid understanding of databases, distributed systems, and API design </li> <li data-start="3454" data-end="3530"> Experience working in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments </li> <li data-start="3531" data-end="3598"> Comfortable owning projects end-to-end with minimal supervision </li> <li data-start="3599"
