Position Summary

Turndown iron, bronze and aluminum impellers to correct size using a CNC lathe.

Job Description

Turndown impellers to proper diameter
Measure diameter with dial calipers. Mark impeller with part number and diameter
Move turndown impellers to balancing machine
Clean lathe and perform routine maintenance as required

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Lift up to 20 lbs repetitively
Ability to use basic inspection equipment (dial calipers)
Knowledge of basic machinist skills, willing to train
Stand up to 8 hours per day
Minimum education/experience: High school diploma or GED
