Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Headwear Production & Sourcing Manager to oversee and manage our growing headwear business. This role will be responsible for coordinating with overseas factories, managing purchase orders and production timelines, creating technical documentation, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate has strong experience in headwear or soft goods production, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Overseas Production & Factory Management
- Manage relationships with headwear factories in Vietnam and Bangladesh
- Issue and manage purchase orders with overseas factories
- Communicate regularly with factory partners, including evening or night hours as needed due to time zone differences
- Utilize and maintain WIP (Work in Progress) reports to track production status and ensure on-time deliveries
- Coordinate overseas travel to visit factories and ensure compliance with company standards, quality, and ethical guidelines
Product Development & Technical Execution
- Create and manage tech packs for headwear styles, including construction details, materials, measurements, and artwork
- Assist with production artwork, converting headwear concepts into production-ready files for college and resort properties
- Partner with art and design teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across products
Domestic Program & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Help manage the domestic headwear program
- Work closely with the embroidery department to ensure smooth order flow and on-time execution
- Collaborate with sales, production, and art teams to align timelines, priorities, and product expectations
Inventory & Planning
- Oversee and manage headwear inventory, forecasting, and production planning
- Identify potential risks in supply, timing, or inventory and proactively recommend solutions
Catalog Development
- Lead and manage the production of 3–4 headwear catalogs per year
- Coordinate timelines, product assortments, imagery, and internal approvals

Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in headwear, apparel, or accessories production (headwear experience strongly preferred)
- Experience working directly with overseas factories, preferably in Asia
- Strong understanding of purchase orders, production timelines, and WIP reporting
- Experience creating tech packs and managing production artwork
- Familiarity with embroidery and domestic production processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, production, and creative teams
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary and travel internationally
- Strong computer skills and experience
