Job Description

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and functionnally to the Middle East and East Africa Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth, visibility, and market impact in Ethiopia. Having strong ability to turn insights into actions, you activate brands on the market and support our commercial performance through effective marketing initiatives.

Key area of responsibilities

1. Drive Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • Build and execute a local marketing roadmap aligned with the subregion Middle East & East Africa priorities and business objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities, high-potential segments, and priority product categories.
  • Translate commercial goals into concrete marketing actions supporting sales and Baking Center activities.

2. Activate the Market

  • Design and deploy end-to-end marketing campaigns with clear objectives and measurable impact.
  • Lead trade marketing and field activations to strengthen product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Ensure strong and consistent brand execution across all touchpoints.

3. Own Digital, Media & Content

  • Lead local digital and social media activations, in line with regional guidelines.
  • Manage media executions and campaign rollouts with agency support when needed.
  • Drive the creation of high-impact content (product, educational, and technical), including video and training materials.

4. Support Product Development & Portfolio: you contribute to product development and launch initiatives, from positioning to go-to-market execution.

5. Manage Budget & Performance

  • Build and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficiency and impact.
  • Track campaign performance, ROI, and key marketing indicators.
  • Deliver clear, concise monthly reporting to local and regional stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will coordinate external partners and agencies to ensure fast, high-quality execution.

You will work closely with our Sales team, our baking technician and the regional Marketing team.

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Effective execution of the annual marketing roadmap.
  • Quality and impact of market activations and campaigns.
  • Strong support to sales and customer-facing teams.
  • Budget discipline and smart resource allocation.
  •  Clear, actionable reporting and continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

Graduated in marketing, communication, or business, you have a first experience in a communication, advertising, or digital agency, ideally in fast-paced or FMCG environments

Skills:

  • Digital & social media marketing,

  • Media activation,
  • Product marketing or product development support.
  • Fluent in English (written or spoken)
