Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Background Investigations Analyst to join our Risk team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and adjudicating the results of background investigations and motor vehicle searches to ensure the integrity of our workforce.

You will be part of the Background Investigations team, reporting to the Senior Manager, where you will act as a subject matter expert, guiding decision-making and collaborating across Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to uphold our rigorous safety standards.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Adjudicate Background Investigations: Review and intervene on investigations containing derogatory information or gaps, ensuring all decisions align with company policies and Program requirements.

  • Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and external vendors to lead discussions on candidate eligibility and track volume trends.

  • Maintain Compliance and Quality: Participate in internal audits to ensure all employees meet established standards and manage vendor performance according to Service Level Agreements.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant Professional Experience: At least 12 months of related experience in background investigations, risk management, or human resources.

  • Multilingual Proficiency: Effective communication skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, which are critical for the success of this role.

  • Analytical Problem-Solving: A proven ability to be a self-starter with a detail-oriented approach to data analysis and database management.

  • Adaptable Work Ethic: The flexibility to adjust shift patterns to meet the specific needs of the United States region.
