About AllAccem

AllAccem, Inc., founded in 2005, is a medical device and pharmaceutical company focused exclusively on developing and manufacturing products for veterinary healthcare. We manufacture, market, and sell professional veterinary products globally.

AllAccem operates as a standalone entity within the Vimian Group. While part of the broader Vimian family—alongside companies such as Movora—AllAccem functions independently with its own products, manufacturing operations, and organizational culture. This role is fully embedded within the AllAccem team and supports on-site manufacturing operations in San Carlos, CA.


Position Summary

The Associate Chemist is a hands-on role supporting routine chemical manufacturing operations under established standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position is well suited for individuals early in their professional careers or those transitioning into an industrial manufacturing environment who are seeking to build practical experience in regulated production settings. The Associate Chemist works under the guidance of senior chemists and contributes to the reliable execution of production activities, documentation, and equipment preparation.


Key Responsibilities


Manufacturing & Production Support

  • Execute assigned chemical synthesis, purification, and isolation steps in accordance with approved SOPs and batch records.
  • Support multi-kilogram scale production activities through accurate execution of defined procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of reagents, starting materials, and production areas for scheduled manufacturing runs.

Documentation, Quality & Compliance

  • Accurately record production data and observations in batch records and associated logs.
  • Follow all quality system requirements, safety procedures, and cleanroom or controlled area practices.
  • Escalate deviations, equipment issues, or safety concerns to senior staff or supervision.

Equipment, Housekeeping & Safety

  • Clean, maintain, and stage glassware, tools, and production equipment for daily operations.
  • Assist with setup and teardown of manufacturing equipment, including inert-atmosphere systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Academic or internship experience with organic synthesis and basic purification techniques.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and chemical handling.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or regulated laboratory environments (internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles).
  • Introductory experience with SOPs, batch records, or quality-controlled documentation.
  • Basic familiarity with inert-atmosphere techniques (e.g., glovebox or Schlenk line) through coursework or research. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow written procedures precisely.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly in a production-focused environment.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
