Key Responsibilities


Prepare and assemble cold food items for banquets and events, including salads, dressings, hors d’oeuvres, cold appetizers, charcuterie, canapés, and plated desserts as assigned  

Execute banquet menus according to standardized recipes, event orders, and presentation guidelines  

Assist with large-scale food production, plating, and garnishing to ensure timely service  

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cold food preparation area in compliance with food safety standards  

Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality across all cold food offerings  

Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Requirements:

-  Previous experience in a similar cold food or garde manger role, preferably in a banquet or catering environment  

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards  

- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation  

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines  

- Creative mindset with an eye for visual presentation and garnishing  

-Good communication and teamwork skills  

-Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
