About the Role

Description

Fairfax Neonatal Associates (FNA) seeks a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist, under the direction of the Human Resources Director, to provide day-to-day HR support. This role focuses on administrative and operational HR tasks, including:


-Assisting with recruitment for non-provider roles (posting jobs, scheduling interviews)

-Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes

-Maintaining accurate employee records and HR files

-Processing HRIS transactions (data entry, status changes) and generating basic reports

-Assisting with benefits enrollment and responding to routine benefit inquiries

-Tracking medical leaves and ensuring documentation compliance

-Providing guidance on established HR policies and procedures

-Handling basic employee relations inquiries and escalating complex matters to the HR Director

-Supporting compliance with employment laws and company standards


Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred

-2-5 years of HR experience or administrative support in a professional setting

-Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity experience a plus)

-Basic understanding of HR practices and employment regulations

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Excellent communication and customer service skills

-Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
