Position Summary: 

This position supports payroll, benefits, and accounting functions by assisting with multi-location payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance support, journal entries, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong attention to detail.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll & Benefits

  • Assist with processing multi-location payroll accurately and timely
  • Maintain payroll records, employee files, and required documentation
  • Support compliance with California wage & hour, break, and tip reporting      requirements
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Respond to routine payroll and benefits questions; escalate as appropriate
  • Assist with payroll reporting and audits

Accounting Support

  • Assist with preparing and posting journal entries
  • Assist with account reconciliations beyond payroll-related accounts
  • Support team with other accounting and finance-led projects
  • Assist with period closing tasks

** Potential for hybrid or remote status **

Requirements

  Qualifications

  • Payroll and/or accounting experience or relevant coursework/degree in related      field preferred

· Basic understanding of payroll processes or accounting concepts

  • Hospitality or multi-entity experience preferred

· Proficiency with Excel and comfort learning new systems

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to learn
