Today, we’re one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming entertainment groups – a FTSE 100 company that is home to more than 25 widely recognised brands, such as bwin, Coral, Foxy, Gala, Ladbrokes and partypoker. But that’s just the beginning. We’re constantly broadening our horizons and expanding our global influence. For example, our partnership with MGM Resorts International has allowed us to make waves in the US by powering BetMGM with our bespoke and top-of-the-line technology. It’s with this unique technology that we’re revolutionising our industry, and we’re boldly working towards being THE world leader in sports betting and gaming. Really though, it’s the people that truly make us who we are. There’s over 30,000 of us around the world and counting, but we all play for the same team. About the Role

Job Description

The Transformation Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end transformation programme during a major technology migration.

This is a highly collaborative role, operating as part of the UK&I Commercial Transformation team, but working cross-functionally across Commercial, Operations, Product, Technology, BI & Data, Compliance, Trading, Procurement, Finance, HR and more.

Acting as the strategic connector across workstreams, you`ll provide cross-programme visibility and ensure alignment to the overarching programme vision, programme objectives and design principles.

Given the complexity and scale of the migration, and volume of stakeholders involved, this role is critical in ensuring coherent controlled change utilizing governance and decision-making forums to drive successful change alignment and minimize disruption to BAU.

In this role, you will be partnering with Workstream Leads to support delivery of programme objectives, proactively anticipating and resolving issues and second order effects, managing inter-workstream dependencies, and other duties as required to enable the organization to transition smoothly into new technologies and ways of working.

The remit of this role is broad and varied, one day you could be designing and facilitating workshops and the next creating business process flows or writing business cases. No two days are the same, so you`ll need to be proactive, curious, solution-orientated and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall transformation programme roadmap and ensure all workstreams remain aligned to strategic objectives and design principles of the migration

  • Provide programme-wide oversight, identifying cross-functional impacts, risks, blockers and interdependencies

  • Facilitate and drive alignment across technical, business, change and operational teams ensuring controlled change utilising governance and decision-making forums

  • Monitor progress (and key metrics that matter), ensuring the programme remains on track and escalations are handled as appropriate

  • Working in partnership with PMO & project support, ensure consistent communication of programme objectives, benefits and progress updates

  • Support senior decision making through structured analysis, scenarios evaluation and recommendations

  • Resolve cross-workstream challenges by coordinating subject matter experts and stakeholders

  • Champion all design principles, and in particular `Customer First` throughout the business, ensuring customers are at the heart of decision making

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Proven experience in large-scale transformation or migration programmes, including strategic planning, organizational change and transformation governance

  • Gambling industry experience (ideally within a tier 1 - 2 operator)

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence complex stakeholder environments

  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to anticipate potential problems, roadblocks and second order effects

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience with tech migrations
