Job Summary

To generate new business along with managing a diverse portfolio of house accounts. Managing existing clients to drive repeat business, upsell/cross-sell Wild Marketing Group capabilities, build strong relationships, understand client evolving needs, negotiate terms, maintaining CRM records, focusing on maximizing revenue from new and assigned, established accounts.


Responsibilities

  • New business development: this role is heavily involved in identifying new markets and business opportunities to drive success and widen our customer reach.
  • Account management: Own and grow a portfolio of established/existing house accounts, serving as the primary contact.
  • Relationship building: Develop deep, trusting relationships with current clients through regular correspondence and communication.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and renewals with existing accounts. Plan and manage personal business portfolio to an agreed upone market development strategy.
  • Needs Assessment: Proactively understand client evolving business needs and challenges.
  • Solution Selling: Present tailored product/service solutions, features, and benefits to meet those needs.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, and terms when necessary for new orders or renewals.
  • CRM management: Maintain accurate, detailed records of all interactions, notes and sales activities.
  • Sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue quotas for your assigned accounts.
  • Attend trade shows and training to develop knowledge, techniques and skills
  • Act as ZoomInfo subject matter expert. Train and mentor sales team to optimize platform.
  • Learn NetSuite to perform personal Account Management and Order Entry responsibilities when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience: promotional merchandise sales experience preferred; at least 3-5 years of sales, account management or business development experience.
  • Bring a strong network and proven ability to qualify, cold call, develop content, present, and close.
  • Communication: excellent active listening, verbal (persuasive, clear) and written skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Technology profiency: Microsoft Suite software profiency, CRM (NetSuite preferred) and virtual meeting tools.
  • Interpersonal skills: strong rapport-building, active listening and negotiation abilities.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, target driven, resilient and a team player.
  • Aggressive account service focus, with extensive client contacts.
  • Concentration: 70% New Business Development and 30% House Account Representation and Account Management (to be re-accessed within 6 months of engagement)
