JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Manager is essential to support our branded merchandise and promotional product cross-departmental activity. This role is very detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office, along with data entry, project tracking, sourcing and pricing. The Account Manager will also be responsible for handling client and vendor correspondence to ensure accurate and on time delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide sourcing solutions for promotional and branded merchandise
- Pricing strategies and presentation of quotes (PowerPoint) for client solutions with attention to budget and margin requirements
- Merchandising strategy and brand alignment coordination
- Entering client order details and corresponding vendor PO’s with clarity
- Interpret and confirm invoices and order acknowledgments from vendors
- Maintain a daily review of all projects, orders and internal departmental deliverables
- Daily correspondence with vendors and customers to confirm approvals
- Update all relevant internal and external parties regarding order status
- Identify and help to implement cost reduction opportunities
- The ability to manage multiple projects/customer accounts at one time and remain organized
- Confirm the order shipment with tracking details and monitor for arrival
- Work directly with suppliers regarding billing discrepancies. Update ERP accordingly ensuring reconciliation and accuracy for WMG accounting team
- Manage expectations with the account executive for client and vendor success
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or experience in business administration, marketing, supply chain or customer service
- Understanding of general accounting principles and NetSuite software a plus
- ASI/promotional product industry experience preferred
- Experience with international, domestic/inland freight, and customs
- Strong work ethic, high energy, self-starter and motivated to support the customer
- Excellent communication, active listening and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, excel and data entry
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient time management in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to interact professionally at all levels
