About the Role

Description

Sanitation Technician is responsible for validating the cleaning of the facility, including office and exterior, and equipment utilized in the production process and related activities.


 

We currently have two positions available for the Sanitation Technician opportunity:

2nd Shift - 10-Hour: 2:00 pm - 12:30 am - Monday thru Thursday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties dedmand. 

Requirements

  • Clean equipment and related items using chemicals while adhering to safe work practices, GMP's, SOP's, maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality is maintained.
  • Maintain information in various systems for food safety, quality, and personnel safety in preparation for routine audits by different agencies.
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment with maintenance prior to and after cleaning and sanitizing. While inspecting equipment and routinely testing for pathogens using various methods.
  • Performs general sanitation and housekeeping protocols, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, write legibly, and perform simple mathematical functions, some computer knowledge and capability is desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food Safety and Sanitation for Food Manufacturing Certification
  • 3 + years experience in a sanitation or similar position
  • Experience with the utilization of sanitation tools.
